This Game is absolutely top!

Love this app, have been buying books of sudoku for a couple of years and its nice to leave the paper and eraser behind. Havent made it past intricate, any harder would make my brain hurt! Will be even happier when I get it on an ipad.

This is a great way to not only play, but also to learn the game of Sudoku. Ive been playing for years, but in the few months since I purchased this app, Ive mastered a few levels of dificulty that I just couldnt get previously. The learn feature is fantastic.

Good as Sudoku gets. Some of the lessons are.. dense, that is hard to understand. I play it every day.

Its a great game - easy to use, and the tutorials are helpful. Unfortunately, it randomly switches from pencil to permanent and if you arent paying attention it messes up your whole game. Not sure why it does it, and only happens occasionally in some squares. In one square it will put the "pencil marks" and in the next a permanent, and then move back to pencil. VERY frustrating!

The iPad version has a learning section which I find terribly useful and informative. I wish those same learning tools were built into the Mac App as well

I love this Sudoku. FInally I am learning all the intricacies without getting frustrated and the tutorials are helping me improve and move on to higher levels. I play every day and love it!

The title says almost all, the only thing I miss is the possibility to mark fields with colors.

This game is great. I love that it teaches you how to play. The only issue I have is sometimes when I put a pencil mark in a box, it comes up as an real entry and not just a pencil mark. Other than that, it is the best Sudoku out there.

There are obviously a lot of sudoku games out there. So why should you get this one? I really like the interface. It is easy to play on both my Mac laptop and on my Kindle Fire. It gives me the information I want in trying to solve the puzzle. There are wide range of difficulties of new puzzles available every day. If you want to stick with one difficulty, it will generate new random puzzles for you. But the best thing I like is the hints tutorial interface. If you ask for a hint, it might tell you to look for some technique that you have never heard of. You can then have it teach you how that method works, and go through a very nice tutorial on it. So it teaches you as you go.

I love this little app. I play it at least once each day. First, I had the free one; then I was happy to upgrade to this. The creator has done a nice job of keeping it up to date.

I have this Sudoku game version on all my devices, and I play the game daily. I really like the large level selection, so you can incrementally work toward solving more complex puzzles, and there seem to be an infinite number to solve. You can save an unfinished puzzle, and go back to it. If you are new to the Sudoku experience, there are tutorials to strategies to solve the puzzles. It is user friendly and I never seem to have any issues or glitches with updates. The app always performs well and is truly enjoyable!!

This is the one Sudoku you have been looking for! The Developer: Absolutely the best! I purchased the iPhone version of this app about two years ago. Throughout that time, Mr. Linhart, the developer, has been consistantly responsive to customer concerns and ideas. Bug fixes are always promptly released and feature requests are taken seriously. The App Itself: Game play is smooth and easy. The learning section contains a wealth of information with examples that actually make sense. The puzzle ratings are well thought out and accurately reflect the effort necessary to solve each puzzle. Hints are available, if you need them. The pencil mode and coloring scheme are comprehensive and cover all the solving methods a user could want. Im thankful that I get to write such a favorable review for an App that has it all!

It may be unfair but the standard for me was set by sudoku2 on iPad. By comparison this one is poor. Graphics are hard to read. Gameplay is odd and seems to hesitate when checking entries.

The interface works very well, but the tutorials and examples are outstanding. Dont be put off by one review. This sudoku is for fun and for seriously learning the most sophisticated techniques.

I would definitely give this game 5 stars... IF IT HAD A COLORING OPTION. Yeah, sometimes, theres a little lag, but I dont really mind that. Otherwise, its fantastic. BUT PLEASE MAKE AN UPDATE WITH SOME KIND OF COLORING CAPABILITY OR SOMETHING!!! I CANT DO SIMPLE, BIVALUE, OR 3D MEDUSA COLORING WITHOUT ONE!!! (If you havent noticed, you cant use crayons on a computer screen...) Also, please make something that you can use to make XY chains, such as an "XY-chain" button so that when you click it, if you click a pencil mark, itll circle it, and then you can connect with whatever number you want to connect it to and circle that one, and then the other number in that box alsoo gets circled to help you continue the XY chain. THANK YOU!!!
