Ive have Enjoy Sudoku for the iPhone, iPad and Mac. I like the iPad version the best (likely because it is easy to set the number with your finger than using the trackpad). The Mac version is similar enough to the iOS version that you will pick it up right away. However the application does lag a little bit. It would be nice if it gave you the option to have the numbers in a row below the puzzle like the iOS version. I would be able to play the games quicker that way. What I really like about the developer of this application is that they frequently update their software with fixes and new features.

Adding the ability to select numbers with my mouse wheel would definitely make this a 5 star game!

My day starts with ♡ Sudoku -- that and a cup of coffee. Both help me get my eyes lined up with the holes. I especially like the ability to set pencil marks with a left click now. Makes it much faster and easier. All in all, a great Mac app. I also have it on my iPhone so Im never without it.

I play this game everyday, and never get tired of it. Always a challenge. Love it!!

The hints are excellent - Ive learned a lot just by using them! The best Suduko program Ive ever used.

Totally worth the price. Provides a crazy number of levels from extremely easy to insanely difficult. And you can play as many puzzles as you want. Start out easy and as your skill improves advanced to more difficult puzzles. Are you stuck? Not to worry, get a hint. Dont understand the hint? Not to worry, get the hint explained. Still dont understand? Not to worry, there are plenty of tutorials and helps. Want to solve that puzzle in the newspaper? Not a problem, just fill in the numbers and then solve the puzzle with all the helps and hints available for puzzles that are part of this game.

This has features that can move you from a beginner to an expert. Many levels to play.

This game is fun to play but would be even more so if I didnt have to spend time going back and forth to the number grid in order to enter a number in the puzzle. I would like to be able to click on a number anywhere in the puzzle to be able to enter it somewhere else in a grid. Also, the timer should not start working until the number grid appears on the right side to begin placing numbers. Otherwise its an addictive game.

Sudoku by Jason Linhart is an excellent app because it actually works, unlike many apps. It is also allows you to become an expert one step at a time, doing only what you can do.

This game has no intuitive controls. Ugh. Sorry I bought it.

Ive tried a bunch of them, this is by far my favorite. I especially like that it is a wonderful tool for learning how to play. No matter what level, there are great features for learning more advanced techniques. My sudoku solving abilities have increased quite a bit in only a couple weeks. But its not just a tool for learning, its also a very playable game. Defaults are fine - Ive never felt the need to change them. Numbers are the perfect size and very readable. Kudos to the programmer(s).

Excellent game. Easy to use and has all the functions of doing the game with a pen.

Love this Sudoko. I love the way it highlights number you are looking at and has seemingly endless number of games.

If I had any complaints, they would be that (1) the application is sometimes too helpful and (2) the training feature (hints) doesnt go far enough in some of its explanations (e.g, in unique rectangles, why delete this rather than the other number when both seem available for deletion?). But those are quibbles. The application is great on all levels and provides many levels of challenge. I tend to stay at the middle (difficult) since spotting and dealing with fish is too difficult for me.

A fun way to spend some down time with differant levels of difficulty. Wish I could update a specific level for that day instead of moving to the next level. Not a dissapointmant and glad I got it and it had a lite version to try first.

Ive had a lot of different sudoku games, on my laptop and my iPhone. This is by far the best one!!! I have both this and the free version on my Pro, and 4 different ones on my phone, but this is the only one I actually play!!! Compaired to the others this one is definitely the best. The others I have tried dont even come close!!!

Great Sudoku app, Im playing it more than I will admit right now, I cant seem to be much faster than 21% of other people who play the difficult game level, some of you people are fast out there. I especially like the hints and tutorials because they teach how to work through certain named tricks and logical problems. I wonder how what I have learned will translate back to playing the newspaper games with a pencil and eraser.

I have tried a lot of Sudoku games; this is by far my favorite. I find the controls easy to use and the levels do get increasingly more challenging. Highly addictive. Highly recommended.
